These aren’t the best times in America.  Our economy is down, unemployment rates are up, and we’ve been in a war that most of the population no longer agrees with – even those who have been strong supporters.

But what we are in now does not compare to what has been going on for much longer in areas of eastern and southern Africa.  AIDS.  The problem is not just the disease, but the culture’s perception of it, and often the solutions that people have thrown at it have not been profitable.

I encourage you to take some time and realize that we are blessed, even now, and stop today and realize what our brothers overseas are facing.  We should instead be at war right now against human indignity that has gone on for so long.
