Google Chrome Beta 3 is out now, which is now even faster than Beta2. Meanwhile, Firefox has revamped it’s engine for newer speeds. This has really been coming fast since Chrome is out. One thing that has to be given attention – how quickly Google has made a name for it’s browser.
I am writing this post with Mozilla Firefox Minefield. Minefield is like Firefox’s snapshot window to the future, and from all I can tell, it’s simply awesome. I’m playing with 3.1b2pre at the moment. All the rumors about it being faster… are generally true.
I upgraded my home machines and my work machine (CentOS 5.2) to Flash 10 recently through adobe’s repo. The upgrade process itself went smoothly – even on my x86_64 machine, no extra steps. Just came in as a PackageKit update, restarted firefox and there it was.
